According to the mayor, the popular Museum of Moussopoulos’ Mill is “working” again. It operates year-round as an industrial museum and at Christmas as Elf’s Mill (ESPA).

Among the most historic buildings, the Dorothea School (1875) was renovated this year with municipal funds and hosts small concerts and events. The former prefecture building, “perhaps the ugliest building in Trikala,” is already being demolished inside to make room for an atrium, and a study to refurbish and upgrade the power grid is being completed. It is located next to the People’s Market (which is being restored with Green Fund resources) and the National Resistance Square, completing the puzzle. The Qicani Museum is taking on a new form and becoming a “fun, interactive” museum. Frescoes and mosaics give the city a new flavor. The sculptural emblem of Trikala, Nikolakis, has been rescheduled before the completion of the renovation of the central square and promotes the beauties of the city in a series of TikTok videos. A lot is being done, but what remains is the vision, coordination and “unblocking” of financial instruments.
