According to meteorologists, periods of increased atmospheric instability will be observed in Banat, Krişani, Maramures, most of Transylvania and northwestern Moldova during this period. There will be showers, in some places electric discharges and hail, short-term strengthening of the wind and squalls. In a short period of time or through accumulation, the amount of water will be 20…25 l/m2, and isolated more than 30 l/m2.
A code orange warning will be in effect from 2:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. Friday. Affected areas: Counties of Caraş Severin, Timișoara, Arad, Bihor, Satu Mare, Maramures, Salaj, Cluj and mountain areas of Alba, Bistrița-Neseud, Mureș and Suceava counties.
Meteorologists say that there will be heavy rains in the counties of Karash-Severin, Timis, Arad, Bihor, Satu Mare, Maramures, Salaj, Cluj and in the mountainous areas of the counties of Alba, Bistrica-Neseud, Mures and Suceava. Local volumes of water will be 30…40 l/m2, isolated over 50 l/m2 (in short periods of time, up to 1-3 hours).
According to ANM, the weather will be unstable in the coming days, especially in the western, northern, central and mountainous regions.
