A 37-year-old man from Timisoara, a military officer, has been threatening to throw himself out of a window from the 7th floor of an apartment building in the municipality of Timisoara since Thursday morning. As of Friday morning, he is still sitting on the windowsill, and negotiations are ongoing to get him to abandon the gesture. On Wednesday, a woman who lived on the same street jumped from the 10th floor.

According to IPJ Timiş, the man is still sitting on the windowsill on Friday morning and has not given up on the extreme gesture, news.ro reports.

Thus, negotiations for his resignation are ongoing.

A 37-year-old man has been threatening to throw himself out of the window from the 7th floor of an apartment building in Timisoara, located on Kaleja Šagului, since Thursday morning. Firefighters installed an inflatable cushion.

The man is a military officer, non-commissioned officer of the military unit 01109 of Timisoara. He has been working at MApN since 2007.

The fighter did not participate in combat missions in the theater of operations, and at the last psychological examination he was recognized as having limited fitness. He is single and has one child.

Police officers from Section 2 from Timisoara, a negotiator from SAS Timiş and soldiers from ISU Timiş, as well as the chief of staff, a psychologist and the chief doctor of the military unit went to the scene of the incident.

On Wednesday, a 53-year-old woman jumped from the 10th floor of a residential building, also on Calea Šagului in Timisoara, and was found on the roof near the entrance to the building.

She survived and was rushed to the hospital.
