
A 66-year-old Albanian woman was handcuffed Tuesday afternoon (6/6) by EL.AS officials. in Athens on charges of drug trafficking and forgery.
According to the police, after investigating information about the activities of the accused in relation to cannabis trafficking in the Cato Paticia area and in particular outside of schools, her criminal activities were established and confirmed.
In particular, after an investigation with the help of a police dog, it was found that a 66-year-old woman had 57 nylon packages of raw cannabis at home with the intent to sell.
At the same time, four precision electronic scales, 227 nylon packages suitable for the standardization of drugs for sale, an amount of 3,830 euros and a counterfeit banknote of 50 euros were found and seized.
The detained woman was taken to the criminal prosecutor’s office of Athens.
