Despite cases of illegal immigrants entering in recent days, flows have declined compared to last year.

On June 3 and 5, the same MCO published information and photographs about the presence of another group of immigrants, numbering about 30 people, on an island in Nea Vysa. According to information released via Twitter, the migrants remain at the site for about a week, while it is reported that they ended up there after a re-promotion operation by the Greek authorities.

Despite repeated incidents in recent days, police officers note that there is no increase in migration flows, and the pressure has been reduced compared to last year. A similar image is also created by officers of the coast guard in relation to the eastern Aegean, as well as the European organization Frontex. His latest report shows a 31% reduction in illegal entry into the Eastern Mediterranean.
