Establishing the Galineas-Alexandrakis troupe shortly after 1970, he achieved a dominant position in the decades of the 70s and 80s until the early 90s, with quality performances from the European and American repertoire. From boulevards and comedies to contemporary dramas, from Georges Feydeau to Friedrich Dürenmatt and from Neil Simon to Edward Albee and Eugene O’Neill.
A translator of many plays herself, she forged special bonds with her audience, but what is interesting is that both in her early days, in the 1960s, and in the last years of her career, she did not hesitate to confront great directors and the shrine of stage names. In the Art Theatre, in the troupe of Dimitris Mirat, Alexis Minotis and Katina Paxinos, Dimitris Horn, Antigone Valakou, Anna Synodin, in the Amphitheater of Spyros Evangeliatos, in the National Theatre, in Herodium, in Epidaurus… Nonika Galinea has collaborated for more than 50 years with almost all theater troupe.
