Real Madrid are in contact with Bayern Munich regarding the transfer of Alphonso Davies

Carlo Ancelotti is asking for reinforcements after a disappointing season in which Real Madrid only managed to win the Copa del Rey.

Left without several players, the most important of which is Karim Benzema, Madrid approached Bayern Munich for the transfer of Alphonso Davies.

The 22-year-old Canadian was also wanted at the Santiago Bernabeu last season and the two sides are now closer than ever to a deal.

Alphonso Davies is still under contract at Bayern until the summer of 2025 and the quoted source claims he has turned down an extension to his current deal, so Real Madrid want to push through the transfer.

“I’m not sure what’s going on. There seems to be too much volatility and uncertainty. It might be better if we wait a bit and see how they go to the club.” – noted Nedal Juose, agent of Alfonso Davis.

While at Bayern Munich since 2019, Alphonso Davies has repeatedly complained publicly about being away from his family and girlfriend.

“I’m lonely. I don’t have a family or a girlfriend.”

According to Transfermarkt, Davies played 153 matches for the Bavarians.
