According to the fire service, on Monday morning, a fire continues in a residential building in Piraeus.

According to the message of the service on Twitter, the fire broke out in a house on Fotiu Koritsas Street, number 135, in an apartment on the third floor.

15 firefighters with five fire engines, one of which is a special vehicle, have already left the place and are fighting the fire.

There was an elderly woman and two children in the apartment. Everyone was safely evacuated through the stairwell.

Currently, the flame is under control, there is no danger to other apartments and adjacent buildings.
