The Aredenci won their Superliga retention/promotion second leg 5-1 against Gloria Buzeu emphatically after the first leg ended in a clean draw.

If during the tour in Buzău, Mircea Rednych’s pupils were destroyed by the hosts, then the return match in Arad brought them relief.

Virgiliu Postolaki opened the scoring in just the 16th minute with a header from Ubbink’s corner.

Immediately after the break, the score was 2-0 after Andrii Chindris’ 49th-minute success, confirmed by the VAR system.

Chindrish scored a double in the 65th minute, and three minutes later Valentyn Aleksandru reduced the difference for the Buzoy team.

Postolachi scored again in the 80th minute, and Philippe Otele closed the scoring in the 89th minute.

UTA will also play in the Superliga next season, with Gloria Buzeu starting in the second division to try and push for promotion.
