The reckless driving of a clergyman who drove his car into a public market caused great concern to hundreds of townspeople who were shopping.
The incident occurred at the public market on Yiannis Dimos Street, when at its intersection with Metamorphoses Street in the Chiliados district, a car driven by a priest did not notice the STOP sign and invaded the pedestrian zone of the market, as a result of which he seduced a passing woman, who at the time was casually shopping.
The car, having entered the pedestrian zone, drove a considerable distance. He was avoided by the upset townspeople who went shopping, but not by the injured woman.
The traffic police officers of Volos who arrived at the scene are conducting a preliminary investigation, the condition of the woman taken to the Achillopuleio hospital does not cause concern.
