Former Minister of Defense and Honorary Head of GEETHA Evangelos Apostolakis said goodbye to the general Michael Costaracowho passed away today at the age of 67.

“The news of the untimely death of General Mikhail Kostarakov, the honorary leader of GEETHA, who left defeated by an incurable disease, after an unequal struggle, deeply saddens us. General Kostarakos wrote an early epilogue of his contribution to the country, in whatever position he served, working tirelessly and methodically, keeping the national interest in mind,” Mr. Apostolakis wrote.

“His loss is great, as is the void left by his death. Rest in peace. We express our most sincere condolences to his family.”
