Klaus Johannis published his latest wealth declaration on May 31.

The Johannis family owns three apartments and three houses in Sibiu and has 200,000 lei in their account, compared to 170,000 lei as stated in the property declaration filed last year.
The declaration of the president’s property does not mention land, cars, or valuables.
Speaking of income, Klaus Iohannis spent 181,944 lei (annually) from his salary, which translates to 15,162 lei per month.
Carmen Iohannis, a teacher at the National College “Gheorghe Lazăr” in Sibiu, collected 41,283 lei in the previous financial year, which means 3,440 lei per month, which is 228 lei more than the amount indicated in the 2022 declaration.
Klaus Iohannis rounded off his income by the amount of 44,389 lei from the rental of the property he owns together with his wife, the same amount was declared for Carmen Iohannis, also from the rental of houses.
In addition, the president received 5,934 lei in royalties from the Old Court for his books, as he published three books.
