Police handcuffed a 16-year-old and a 24-year-old for robbing women, with particular brutality, in the New Philadelphia area.

The New Philadelphia-New Chalcedon Department of Security filed a case against them for conspiracy, serial and consecutive robberies.

According to EL.AS., in the past two weeks, there have been four cases of robberies against women with the usual way of acting. The defendants were seen last Sunday, May 28, in New Philadelphia by police from the DIAS team and were considered suspects in the robberies. They were then taken to the local security office, where they were found guilty of four robberies against female bystanders and one attempted robbery of a man in his home.

According to their mode of action, the defendants, together with other wanted persons, acting in various compositions and alternating roles, at noon and evening searched for potential victims with bags and gold, while determining the escape route through the stream. located in the area. They then approached the women and physically grabbed the bags or chains around their necks.

In fact, the defendants did not hesitate to throw the women to the ground and inflict bodily harm on them.

Four robberies of women were solved, three of whom were taken to the hospital with serious injuries, as well as an attempted robbery of a man in his house, when they tried to remove the chain from his neck.

It is noted that the defendants in the case have already been repeatedly detained for numerous robberies and thefts. The detainees have been taken to the Athens criminal prosecutor’s office, while the police investigation continues to search for and arrest their accomplices.
