A prominent 29-year-old man was arrested on a warrant in the area of ​​Agia Varvara on charges of armed robbery against a 51-year-old taxi driver in the early hours of Monday, May 22, in Haidari.

The unfortunate driver, who had health problems, was found dead outside his taxi a few hours later.

According to EL.AS, after getting into a taxi, the attacker immobilized a 51-year-old man at gunpoint and robbed him, and took the car keys with him at the exit.

The detainee, delivered to the prosecutor’s office, is accused of another robbery of a taxi driver, in the same way, in the area of ​​St. Barbara.
