Police from the Immigration Department of the Attica Aliens Authority proceeded to arrest a 53-year-old man in Piraeus who ran an informal hostel where he hid immigrants without travel documents.

Following the use of the information by the police, a house search was carried out in the Piraeus region, where four foreigners without travel documents were identified.

As it turned out during the investigation, the migrants were transported from Turkey to Greece through Evros and ended up in Attica.

They then hid in a “boarding house” run by a 53-year-old man in Piraeus.

The detainee was brought before the District Attorney of Piraeus.
