The offender was found on Monday afternoon (29/5) by the police. in a cafe in Porto Rafti and was arrested.

As it became known from the investigation of EL.AS, the man left his house immediately after the murder and for a short time he lived in a monastery in Attica.

When the police found him and handcuffed him, The 29-year-old admitted hitting the 50-year-old, but said he “didn’t know I killed him.”

As regards the timing of the case, The 50-year-old man was spotted on the morning of September 24 in Athens. lying on the pavement and covered in blood.

He was noticed by a passer-by at 6:20 am at the intersection of Ikarios and Zagreos streets. An EKAV ambulance was immediately called and taken to the Georgios Gennimatas General Hospital, where he died from his injuries.

As a result of the study, it turned out that A 29-year-old man, along with another person, quarreled with the victim, managed to hit him in the face with his hand causing the victim to lose balance and fall onto the road.

The two men then fled in a two-wheeled vehicle belonging to the accused.
