“We put a dog there so that he would not come close, but the child did not go to the canal, he was afraid of water, he did not know how to swim. I am unhappy, I have lost a two-year-old child, I have lost my Panayota, ”said the child’s mother.
The girl’s mother emphasized that everything happened in a few seconds, as she went to get milk for the baby, and when she left, the 2-year-old girl disappeared.
“She asked for some milk, I went in to make milk for her, and when I went out the baby was gone. I called, asked if anyone had seen her, but nothing. Then I called the police, and we started to search the irrigation canal, because the canal is next to us. I don’t know how the kid got there, he never intended to,” he added.
