Ioan Ovidiu Sabau does not continue his studies at the University of Cluj

55-year-old Ioan Ovidiu Sabau has announced that he will not continue to work on the technical bench of Transylvania. The technician stated that he is likely to lead the club’s second team.

“I believe that it is best for me and my health to stop cooperation with U Cluj.” I am not giving up my coaching career.

We are looking at staying at the club, looking after the team in League 3 where I will try to help the youngsters in the first team. Discussions are underway, we have not made any decision yet” – Ioan Ovidiu Sabauon Tuesday, during a press conference.

Sabeu led the team when they were in 13th place (playoffs), managed to avoid relegation (finishing 10th in the rankings) and reached the final of the Romanian Cup (losing on penalties to Sepsi).
