The institution also clarifies that after disembarking the participants, under the guidance of the traffic police, the buses will be directed to the parking lot on Splaiul Independenţei, the segment between Grozăveşti Bridge and Cotroceni Bridge, in the direction of the cities. Cotroceni, lanes I and II.
“Depending on the number of participants in the road crew, measures will be taken to restrict dynamic traffic so that the passability and safety of road users are not affected,” the road crew added.
On Monday, after discussions at the Ministry of Labor, union representatives said they are demanding a salary increase by the end of the year and a guarantee that the salary law for a debut teacher will be at least equal to the average household wage.
They said there was no reason why the protest planned for Tuesday should not take place, as they had not achieved anything concrete.
In addition, the unions demanded a meeting with President Klaus Iohannis, who they ask to fulfill his role as “a mediator between the state and society to get real and immediate solutions for the education system from the executive”. Trade union leaders told the president that the Government’s proposal does not yet meet any of the protesters’ demands. The request of the trade union was registered in the Presidential Administration, from where no response has yet been received.
Labor Minister Marius Budai said he had a “separate mandate on two levels” during Monday’s talks with education unions: to discuss what happens with the strike and to shorten the original July 15 deadline for the wage law.
For her part, the Minister of Education Ligia Deka said that at the moment “we are not in a position to delay the exam calendar in any way.”
“The deadline for compiling average indicators for classes XII and XIII, in the case of evening studies, is June 2. If there is a need, we will extend this period so that all children complete the school course,” she said.
