Katie McNally (57 WTA) stars before her match against Ana Bohdan in the first round of Roland Garros, the second Grand Slam of the year.

Under these conditions, Bohdan (63 WTA) will meet in the inaugural round at Camila Osoriooccupying the 86th place in the world hierarchy.

The Colombian entered the main draw from the position of a lucky loser (she lost in the last round of qualification to the Russian Mirri Andreeva – 16 years old, 143 WTA).

The first game will take place on Monday on court 4 and will start at 12:00 (Romanian time).

• The winner of this match will face Elise Mertens (28th seed) in the second round, after the Belgian defeated Slovakia’s Victoria Grunchakov (135 WTA, lucky loser) 6-1, 6-4.

• Romania at Roland Garros is also represented by Sorana Kirstea (vs Jasmine Paolini / first round) and Iryna Begu (vs Sara Errani / second round).

The Roland Garros tournament takes place from May 28 to June 11, has a total prize pool of 49.6 million euros, and is the 127th tournament. Iga Sviatek and Rafael Nadal (14-time winner in Paris) became the champions of the title.
