The organizers of Roland Garros announced the program for Monday, Ana Bohdan will make her debut on Parisian soil. Also, on May 29, Carlos Alcaraz and Novak Djokovic will play in the opening round of the second Grand Slam tournament of the year.

Ana Bohdan plays Katie McNally at Roland Garros 2023 on Monday

Bohdan, who is ranked 60 in the world, will meet Katey McNally (54 WTA, USA) on Monday. This will be the first match between the two players.

The first game of the day will be played on court 4 and will start at 12:00 (Romanian time).

Know:

• The winner of this match will face Elise Mertens (28th seed) in the second round, after the Belgian defeated Slovakia’s Victoria Grunchakov (135 WTA, lucky loser) 6-1, 6-4.

• Romania is also represented at Roland Garros by Iryna Begu (vs. Anna Bondar, Sunday) and Sorana Kirstia (vs. Jasmin Paolini, Tuesday).

Novak Djokovic and Carlos Alcaraz will make their Roland Garros debuts on Monday

Also on Monday, Novak Djokovic (favorite 3) will debut in Paris against the American Aleksandar Kovacevich (114 ATP). The match will be the second at the Philippe-Chatrier Arena and will start around 2:00 p.m.

In the third match at the Suzanne-Lenglen arena, Carlos Alcaraz (the main favorite) will meet the Italian Flavio Cobolli (159 ATP, based on the qualification).

The Roland Garros tournament takes place from May 28 to June 11, has a total prize pool of 49.6 million euros, and is the 127th tournament. Iga Sviatek and Rafael Nadal (14-time winner in Paris) became the champions of the title.
