Luton Town is returning to the Premier League after 31 years

The team led by Rob Edwards completes the list of teams that will compete in the Premier League for the 2023/24 season.

Luton Town beat Sunderland 2-0 in the play-off final to reach the Premier League, while the small English side face Coventry at Wembley on Saturday.

Jordan Clarke opened the scoring for Luton Town in the 23rd minute and the first half belonged entirely to Rob Edwards, who could have scored again.

The second half belonged to Coventry, who managed to restore parity thanks to Dutchman Gustavo Hamer (min. 66).

The match went into extra time, and then it came to a penalty shootout.

Luton performed flawlessly there and it was Fankati Dabo who missed the decisive penalty that promoted Luton Town to the top division of British football.
