FCSB lost the Super League title again, and next season the lineup will change dramatically.
At least seven football players have already been released, and the list of departures may increase in the near future.
Dejan Sorescu, Jonas Tamm, Iulian Kristja, Sorin Sherban, Razvan Oaide, Boban Nikolov and Billel Omrani have already announced that they will not continue with the team.
With the opening of the mercato period, three more footballers could leave. Two of them, Andrii Vlad and Denis Haruts, were practically irrelevant in the spring season in FCSB, and Gigi Bekali is waiting for offers for them.
The third player FCSB can part with in the summer is the team’s top scorer Andrea Compagno. Gigi Becali has already received a €2.5m bid for the Italian forward, with further rounds of negotiations to follow.
Given the large number of departures, FCSB is also expected to have a back-to-back acquisition campaign. The involvement of two central defenders, a midfielder and a forward is considered relevant.
