The 57-year-old motorcyclist died tragically on Friday morning in a traffic accident on the beach.

According to notia.gr, the accident occurred at Alimos height, namely at the intersection of Poseidonos and Kondili streets, when a motorcycle heading towards Piraeus, while overtaking, hit a mirror and ended up on top of a van after the first collision with at least seven vehicles that were immobilized due to traffic.

The driver, who was wearing a helmet, died at the scene. From a strong collision, the trunk of the car came off and was thrown into the air, ending up on the roof of a car.

Traffic on the beach was stopped until the vehicles involved in the accident were removed.
