
The Romanian Football Federation has announced that the Romanian Super Cup will be held on July 8, 2023 at the Ilie Oane Stadium in Ploiești.

The Executive Committee of the Romanian Football Federation on Tuesday voted to hold the Romanian Super Cup on July 8. The chosen arena is Ilie Oane from Ploiesti.
The match is scheduled exactly one week before the start of the 2023/24 Super League season and will take place for the third time at the Ploiesti Stadium.
This trophy was also played here in 2019 and 2020, the latter was played only in 2021 due to the pandemic. Then “Viitorul” and “CFR Cluj” triumphed.
Farul Constanta won the Super Cup title and Constanta will find out their opponent on May 24 when Sepsi Sfantu Gheorghe takes on Cluj University.
