OUR VIN diesel announced that a series of spin-offs of popular films is in development”Fast and Furious“. In fact, a film with women in the lead roles will be added to them.
“I started developing a female spin-off in 2017 along with other spin-offs. The sooner I present the ending, the sooner all the spin-offs will be released,” he recently said.
“Fast X” is the first part of a two-part finale, but “it’s nice to think about the end of the story,” Diesel said. In an interview on May 12, he revealed that the finale could be split into three separate films. “Look how many characters and great talents there are in the film,” he characteristically said of the filming of the 12th film. “These characters are lovable and we need to see them more often.”
Fast X features the return of Giselle (Gal Gadot) and Luke Hobbs (Dwayne Johnson). Diesel admits that keeping the appearance of these two characters a secret was not easy. “I’m so excited to have them back together and even more excited to see how the fans react.”
On the red carpet, Fast and Furious X co-star Michelle Rodriguez revealed that Gadot was on the set of previous films, but they were cut during editing.
“A long time ago, we shot different scenes that might not have been suitable for this particular film as an ending,” Diesel confirmed.
However, Rodriguez is unsure if she will be in the spin-offs. “You pass the baton, you go to the back seat. When it comes to the next generation, you have to do it. It’s the only way to let them determine the future.”
