Messaging and calling app whatsapp gave users the ability to edit posts.
“In cases where you’ve made a mistake or just changed your mind, you can now edit the messages you’ve sent to WhatsApp,” the Meta Platforms-owned messaging app said in a blog post.
IT’S HERE 📣 Post editing is already running.
You now have up to 15 minutes after sending a message to edit it. So you don’t have to worry if you duck 🦆 pic.twitter.com/JCWNzmXwVr

As the feature rolls out globally in the coming weeks, senders will be able to edit their messages within 15 minutes of hitting the send button, according to Reuters.
This feature is accessed by long pressing on a message and selecting “edit” from the menu. The edited post will be marked as “edited” without displaying the change history.
Until now, users had to either delete the message entirely or submit the fix as a separate message. Last year, the chat app extended the message deletion period from two days (48 hours) to 60 hours.
Rival apps such as Telegram and Signal already allow users to edit messages, and microblogging site Twitter last year provided the ability to edit tweets for select users.
