Secret security Rethymno attempts to identify the perpetrator of the murder of a 46-year-old man in the Rethymno mansion. According to ERT, one person has already been delivered and interrogated.

It is noted that The 46-year-old rancher was found dead in his car outside the area he was using for a sheepfold.. The victim received a bullet from a carbine through a car window.

The vehicle may have been in motion at the time of the incident. According to ERT, the victim was described as a violent individual and was of concern to the authorities in several cases, including drug cases, assault, attempted murder, etc.

In fact, the authorities are asking for clarification if it’s about continuing the feud which began on 23 May 1994 with the strangulation and rape of a 53-year-old woman near the village of Patima Apokoronou, Chania. Three criminals were arrested and on 6 December 1997 were sentenced to life imprisonment. A cycle of violence has since followed with five more murders between the three families.

However, the possibility of reviving the old enmity, it is not considered likely. According to ERT, ELAS is investigating the possibility of settling scores with people of the night.
