The Athens State Orchestra celebrates the Day of Remembrance of the Victims of the Pontic Genocide with symphonic works by Greek composers. Principal musician Vladimiros Simeonidis will conduct Kotsari by Amarandos Amarantidis, Pirrion by composer Christos Papageorgiou, and Pontic lyre virtuoso Matteos Tsakhuridis will present Ilias Papadopoulos’ Concerto for Pontic Lyre and Orchestra. The personal exhibition of paintings by Stefanos Zanni (photo) will run until June 10. In Alsos-Peristeriou the book fair starts for the second year.
