“Tottenham” will fight until the end of this season for a place in European cups, and this summer the London team will release several players. One of them is the one who led the team to the UEFA Champions League final in 2019.

Lucas Moura will leave Tottenham at the end of the season

Having reached the age of 30, Lucas Moura will no longer play for Tottenham Hotspur this summer.

The Brazilian is running out of months on his contract with the north London club and has not been offered a contract extension, so he will remain out of contract.

Lucas Moura, signed from Paris Saint-Germain for €28.4 million in January 2018, is one of the players linked with the team’s recent fine run in the Premier League.

It was the Sao Paulo academy graduate who qualified Tottenham for the 2019 Champions League final in that crazy match where he scored a hat-trick at Ajax Amsterdam.

Although Tottenham lost the final to Liverpool, this game holds a special place in the club’s history.

“Thanks for the memories Lucas!

We can confirm that Lucas Moura will leave at the end of this season due to the expiry of his contract.” – says the club’s official press release.

219 matches, 38 goals and 27 assists – these are the indicators of Lucas Moura in a Tottenham shirt.

The football player is currently valued at 9 million euros according to Transfermarkt.
