The singer died at the age of 89 Yannis Vogiatzis.

According to the first information, Yannis Vogiatzis he was hospitalized in Hippocrates Hospital.

He started out as a singer, but soon began acting in films and theater, as well as performing on the radio.

He dressed many Greek films with his voice. Among his most famous hits were the songs “I love you in all languages”, “Starry sky”, “Our first night”, “I hit you once and twice and three”.

Giannis Vogiatsis collaborated with all the famous creators of light songs, and also performed songs by Mikis Theodorakis, Manos Hatsidakis, Mimi Plessas, Giorgos Muzakis, Giorgos Theodosiadis, Kostas Kapnisis and others.

He was twice awarded the 1st prize at the Thessaloniki Greek Song Festival: in 1963 with the song “Fly a birds” and in 1970 with the song “My Brothers Stray Birds”.

He and his namesake actor Yannis Vogiatzis were first cousins.
