
On Sunday evening, meteorologists warned of strong winds in the districts of Karash-Severin, Sibiu and Timis. Gusts can reach 70 kilometers per hour in the lowlands and more than 90 kilometers per hour in the mountains.
One of the warnings concerns the county of Timișoara, localities: Deta, Getaia, Chakova, Pechiu Nou, Jebel, Liebling, Jamu Mare, Denta, Sakosu Turcesk, Bunlock, Giulvaz, Tormak, Ujvar, Moravica, Vojteg, Gilad, Birda, Livizile, Foeni, Otelec, Pădureni, Niţchidorf, Parţa, Giera.
“Intensification of the wind is expected, the gusts of which will exceed 55…60 km/h,” – reports ANM.
Another warning was issued for Sibiu County, Cisnădie, Avrig, Talmaciu, Şelimbăr, Racovita, Turnu Roşu, Boiţa settlements.
Here, meteorologists report the strengthening of the wind, which will exceed 55…65 km/h in gusts.
Karash-Severyn County is also under a yellow code.
“There will be: a temporary strengthening of the wind, which in gusts will exceed 60…70 km/h, and at an altitude of more than 1,800 m – more than 90 km/h,” – reports ANM.
