Pavlo Parfeni, known under the pseudonym Pasha Parfeni, was born on May 30, 1986 in Orhei, he was a member of the SunStroke Project band.

The performer is representing the Republic of Moldova at Eurovision for the second time, after Pasha Parfeni won the national selection for Eurovision 2012 with the song “Fiddler” on March 11, 2012 and represented the Republic of Moldova in Baku.

The best result obtained by Moldova in this competition was the 3rd place in 2017 of the band SunStroke Project, from which Parfeni left in 2010, with the song “Hey, Mamma!”.
