The last act of the family tragedy in Arta happened today, as it happened at 12 noon funeral of a 5.5-month-old baby whose father forgot in the car and died as a result.

The procession of babies, a special rite of naming and burial according to the Orthodox standard for baptized babies, took place in the holy church of Taxiarchon.

The 37-year-old father, due to his workload, forgot that he still had a child with him, who slept in his high chair in the back seat. And when he approached the nursery, instead of leaving the child, he continued, parked his car and drove off in the company car towards Lefkada.
