Student Elections: Past Greatness in Classrooms

This year’s day passed yesterday in silence and with low-intensity incidents. student elections V universities countries. The atmosphere was calm, reflecting little student interest in the process, which had lost its former appeal. Yes, I like it – told “K” Professor AUTH., there was essentially no pre-election period, and there was little activity – even small tables – of factions. “Glory Days Gone” – an experienced student told “K”.. A special element is her war DAP-NDFC And her Panspudasticis (PKS CNE) for the legalization of student associations. On the other hand, given that there will not be (as every year) agreement between the factions on the results, the political conclusions presented in the student elections are judged based on the point of view of each faction.

In particular, according to estimates, participation has moved to last year’s level, i.е. about 50,000 students came to the polls. There were no paratrogs, except for the appearance of persons from the anarchist space in the premises of the NTUA and AUT. Of course, there was no deficit in voting, which is the cause of conflicts between factions. For example, DAP-NDFK complained that the Department of Economic Research at the Univ. An Athenian student tried to vote by presenting his ID in his Gov.gr wallet. However, according to the ND student faction, “Panspuadastica and extra-parliamentary left organizations have refused to identify it, saying it is not a legal document. The law is clear: Gov.gr Wallet documents have the same validity as paper certificates for any procedure in Greece. In fact, the upcoming national elections explicitly allow voter identification through digital certificates. But that’s fine print for the technophobic anti-democrats of the regressive left.”

Of course, the tug-of-war between DAP-NDFK and PKS has begun since last year – PKS announced that it was ranked first in the country after 34 years of DPA-NDFK monopoly – and concerns the legalization of student associations. In particular, DAP-NDFK states that in the new faculties of the university, which are the development of TEI based on the law of 2018, PKS has created separate associations. “There are about 25 student associations – phantoms, electoral branches of the PCC, in which she alone arranges polls and issues results. At the same time, in cooperation with the bachalo factions, they are openly falsifying the results of more than 60 student associations across the country, giving out monkey results,” DAP-NDFK reports, complaining that “universities have been filled with “parallel” associations for falsification of the will of students. In fact, in line with the practice of the PKS, the DAP-NDFK has decided to accept the results of the associations only if they fix the strength of the third faction, for example, for example. PASP.

The PKS counterattacked the DAP-NDFK with 12 points, emphasizing that “in the past few days, the classrooms have been buzzing with information about various suspicious cases of buying student votes for a few euros. Disgust at its finest. There are many complaints in different cities. We are not impressed. At the same time, there is a DAP head at the Department of Computers and Informatics in Janina who spreads lies and promises that “whoever votes for DAP will pass the course”, while the teacher of a particular course denies this. So much “superiority” and desperation for voting.”

A more complete picture of each faction’s results will be available today. The question is why, if the elections of students for their representation in the bodies of universities are held by electronic voting, then the elections of students are held by ballots and this day is a day off in universities.
