
One “Bridge Musics Above Syngrou”, created for the 8th year, May 10, 2023, connecting the Roof with the Department of Communication, Media and Culture of the University of Panteillon. A bridge which significantly and fruitfully supports the students of the course “Culture and Cultural Management” of the Faculty of Communication, Media and Culture of Panteio, providing them with the opportunity to collaborate with Stegi, meet with the departments of production and communication, gain valuable experience and communicate with contemporary music creators. Dedicated to the composer Maurice Ohana (1913-1992), this year “Bridge”traces the personal and creative paths of a musical creator unknown to many in Greece with the help of three concertos. Also for the first timeBridge Musics” reached Thessaloniki, where on March 18, in the amphitheater “Stefanos Dragoumis” of the Museum of Byzantine Culture, a presentation of the collaboration between Stegis and Pantheus was held, followed by a concert with works for oboe and piano, in collaboration with “Contemporary” MusicDepartment Musicians training in AUTH.
Maurice Oanat (1913–1992) was recognized as one of the leading composers of his generation in France as early as the 1960s. musician his work is as diverse as music his language. Born in Morocco, with Spanish ancestry, British citizenship, French education and numerous trips to Africa and Europe, he creates across geographic boundaries. musician of the universe is formed due to the rejection of the aesthetic doctrines of its time and at the same time the inclusion of a very complex personal music his experiences. He draws on his roots, his Mediterranean origins, classical flamenco and Andalusian cante jondo, Spanish themes and lyrics, African and Afro-Cuban rhythms and Greek myths.
