The Russian army brought only one tank, a T-34 from the “Great Patriotic War” era, to the Victory Day military parade in Moscow, the situation caused a lot of sharp comments on social networks.
A T-34 tank led the parade of armored vehicles, followed by several aircraft carriers and then intercontinental ballistic missiles. The full video of the parade and its highlights can be viewed HERE.

This situation has been reported by many observers of the war in Ukraine, including Oryx, the administrator of a well-known site that tracks the casualties of both armed forces involved in the conflict.

One of the Russian state news agencies, RIA Novosti, recalled that the T-34 tank is traditionally at the head of the armored column marching down Red Square on May 9, given its significance in the victories won in the “Great Patriotic War”, the term used in Russia for World War II.
But in other years, the tank column was larger and included several models of the main combat vehicles, as evidenced by a brief summary of the 2021 parade:

This year, there were no planes at the Victory Day parade
This year, Russia also canceled the traditional flyover of the air force over Red Square and the Kremlin, with infantry units making up the “main part” of the parade. Also, the whole ceremony itself seemed rushed, lasting less than an hour.
Another year’s video of the parade was used by Ukrainian netizens to mock the situation and highlight the losses suffered by the troops sent by Vladimir Putin to their country last year:

Ukraine estimates that its armed forces have destroyed more than 3,700 Russian tanks since the beginning of the invasion, a figure that should be treated with a degree of skepticism as it cannot be independently confirmed.
But the fact that Russia has recently been sending T-54/55 tanks, produced since the 1940s and the second half of the 50s, to the front indicates the huge losses of the Russian armed forces in this regard.
