ENPPI said the 26-year-old, who was playing for the team on loan, switched off his phones after leaving the Cairo stadium and all attempts to contact him through his wife and agent were unsuccessful.
The club said it had informed the Egyptian federation about the Burkina Faso player’s disappearance, but added that it had not lodged a complaint.
“We only hope that he is well and we can discuss the formalities,” said Mohamed Ismail, the club’s official representative, according to News.ro.
