A man who kidnapped his five-year-old daughter from a house in Kiain was detained by police for 24 hours on Saturday on charges of deprivation of liberty, threats and domestic violence.

“On May 6, the police criminal investigation services of the police inspectorate of the Ilfov district detained the man for 24 hours, and he will be presented to the prosecutor of the prosecutor’s office attached to the Bufta district court with legal proposals. The person in question is being investigated for crimes related to deprivation of liberty, threats and domestic violence,” IPJ Ilfov said, quoted by Agerpres.

The quoted source recalls that a man from Kyazna, Ilfove, attacked his wife on Thursday and then barricaded himself in the house with his five-year-old daughter. The person had two gas cylinders in the house.

After 28 hours of negotiations, the man voluntarily surrendered and left the house alone, and was taken away by the police. Also, the girl was released without injury.
