New Mona Lisa Bridge Theory

Uncover one of the mysteries surrounding the always charming Mona Lisa comes to mind the Italian historian Silvano Vincetti, who claims to have identified an idyllic landscape lying in the background of the famous table with the countryside in your own village Tuscan.

Speaking to international media, Silvano Vincetti stated that Romito Bridge on Laterinin the Arezzo region of Tuscany, across the Arno River, is the Italian countryside that accompanies the figure of the Mona Lisa.

OUR Leonardo da Vinci painted Gioconda in 16th-century Florence, and the question of the identity of the landscape that appears in the background is as old as the identity of the woman depicted (now attributed to Lisa Gherardini).

Two items

The Italian expert bases his theory on two elements. First, that the Tuscan stone arch bridge has the same number of arches as the painting, unlike others that have been suggested from time to time by project researchers.

Today, only one arch of the bridge has survived, but Vinchetti calculated its length and dimensions and found that four arches cover the distance from one bank to the opposite. The stone bridges heard of from time to time always had more arches than those listed in the table. The second evidence is that Vincetti places Da Vinci in the area in the early 16th century with documents and evidence he found in the Italian historical record.

The news, however, caused great excitement in the small Laterina of 3,500 people, according to the Guardian, and disappointed the neighboring village, which until recently claimed that its own bridge was painted by the great da Vinci.
