• If the responsible person does not respond, the municipality must proceed with an ex officio cleanup. In the case of fenced or walled premises, the municipality calls the fire brigade for an autopsy and issues a prosecutor’s order for entry into the premises.

• The person in charge of the site must keep the area clear of dry branches and grass during the entire fire season, ie until the end of October. This means that cleaning alone may not be enough.

• If the municipality proceeds ex officio to clean up the area, it will charge the person responsible for cleaning and removing the remains a fine of 0.50 euros per square metre.

• Cleaning includes removal of dead trees, branches and grass, as well as cutting trees to a height of 1.5 meters from the ground and removing flammable materials.

It should be noted that cleaning residues must be removed in accordance with the cleanliness rules of each area. In particular, they should not be thrown into general waste, but removed immediately after completion of work in agreement with the municipality.
