Aerosmith announced the “awesome” news on Monday in a star-studded video featuring famous friends including Sir Ringo Starr, Dolly Parton and Eminem.

“Get ready, you’re in for the best show of our lives,” the band announced.

The 40-concert North American run will begin in Philadelphia on September 2, 2023 and conclude on January 26, 2024 in Montreal with a New Year’s Eve show in their hometown of Boston.

But for now, no data for Europe has been announced.

“I think it’s about time,” guitarist Joe Perry, 72, told The Associated Press.

“This is a kind of chance to celebrate 50 years since we have been here. You never know how long everyone will be healthy enough to do it. It’s been a while since I’ve done an actual tour. We did that tour in Vegas, which was great … It was fun, but (we’re) kind of itching to get back on the road,” he said.

In a statement to the AP, Steven Tyler, 75, said: “We’re opening Pandora’s Box one last time to bring the Peace Out Tour to our fans. Be there or watch out because we’re taking all the toys out of the attic. Get ready.”

Aerosmith was formed in Boston, Massachusetts in 1970 and has sold 150 million records worldwide and won four Grammy Awards.

The band was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2001, the same year they performed at the Super Bowl halftime show.

The band consists of Steven Tyler (vocals, guitar), Joe Perry (guitar), Tom Hamilton (bass), Joey Kramer (drums) and Brad Whitford (guitar).
