In particular, after analyzing visual material collected from CCTV cameras in the Alimos area, the EL.AS. succeeded in deciphering the movements of those involved, displaying the route followed by both the scooter that the natural criminals rode and the white van that played a supporting role.

As mentioned in previous days, the perpetrators of the crime were discovered in the Alimos area on the day of the journalist’s murder, as well as the day before. As it turned out from the visual material, April 8, 2021 (one day before the execution)the white van was first recorded in the area at 13:25 and the scooter was first recorded in the area at 13:46, approximately 21 minutes apart.

The van was last seen in the Alimos area at 13:35, and the scooter was last seen in the same area and specifically moving towards Megistis Street at 13:48, i.e. 13 minutes late. Then for both cars there is a “pause in the review”, which lasts about 2 hours. The two cars are then captured simultaneously at 15:30 on the CCTV camera located at 27 Poseidon Street in Alimos moving towards Piraeus (from Alimos).

As it turned out as a result of a survey of people in the working environment of Giorgos Karaivaz, on April 8, 2021, a journalist he left work about half an hour before the usual time his departure and returned home at 13:28 pm.
