Cancellations and route changes throughout railway network will be tomorrow, Monday, May 1, due to the Labor Day general strike may Dayin which the Panhellenic Federation of Railways (POS) participates.

The remaining Hellenic Train passenger trains, as well as buses running on the internal routes of the network, will not operate.

The Panhellenic Federation of Railways and Rail Vehicles, in a statement, states that “after the tragic accident at Tempi, it will continue to fight for a safe, modern, public and social railway for the benefit of the citizens of Greece. We are participating in the 24-hour general strike on Monday, May 1, 2023, which was announced by GSEE in honor of Labor Day. We call on our trade unions, railway workers, all the workers of the country to take part in the strike.”
