
Thousands of tourists are in the resorts of Vala Prahova during the May 1 mini-vacation, and many have decided to go skiing or snowboarding on the slopes of Sinaia.
Among the resorts of the Prahova Valley, Sinaia is the only one where you can still go skiing, in the alpine ski resort, the slopes are open: Varianta, Vâlcel, Valea Soarelui 1 and 2, Valea Dorului, Lăptici 1 and 2, Cocora , Călugărul 1 and 3 , Genune and Lake.
Three slopes remain closed due to insufficient snow, namely Călugărul 2, Panoramic and Floare de colt.
According to data provided to News.ro by ski area administrator Maria Florichike, more than 1,200 tourists climbed the Sinai slopes in just a few hours.
Tourists in other resorts can choose to hike the mountain. At the Azuga resort, the authorities recommend Baiului peaks or routes in the Urechya and Kazaku districts to those who want to climb near the resort.
