Pair Ruse – Kostyuk in the second round of WTA Madrid

Timea Babos (Hungary)/Anna Danilina (Kazakhstan) went to the super tiebreak after 6-4, 4-6, 12-10.

The game lasted one hour and 23 minutes.

In the second round, Ruse and Kostyuk will meet with Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova (Russia) / Elena Rybakina (Kazakhstan).

The WTA Madrid doubles draw also features Romanian Monica Niculescu, who, along with Makoto Ninomiya (Japan), will meet the winners of Storm Hunter (Australia) / Elise Mertens (Belgium) and Daria Castakina (Russia) / Martina Trevisan (Italy).
