“We have a long list and we continue to send them home,” said Rechan, who noted that Russian President Vladimir Putin is banned from entering the Republic of Moldova.

The Prime Minister emphasized that the blacklist is not public, and some Russian officials will find out that they are on it when they try to enter the Republic of Moldova.

  • “At some point we will make a public list, for now the mechanism that works today is enough. I don’t know if public resources should be spent to make the list.
  • I assure you that no one enters who should not enter. We will close the mouths of all those who promote and sow war,” Rechan said.

Russia should respect the citizens and institutions of the Republic of Moldova, the official from Chisinau emphasized.

  • “The Russian Federation should not tell us what we should or should not do. The Republic of Moldova is an independent, sovereign country, and anyone who does not respect the people’s choice is our attitude. We will tell them that everyone should know their place and if you have to do something at home, do it at home.
  • They cannot impose rules on us, they must treat citizens of the Republic of Moldova, institutions with respect. We will not allow them to violate either the legislation of the Republic of Moldova or our rights and elections,” concluded Dorin Rechan.

Russia banned some Moldovan officials from entering the country: Interior Minister Ani Revenko and her three deputies: Oase Nantoi, Olesya Stamate and Liliana Karp.

At the same time, an employee of the Embassy of the Republic of Moldova in Moscow was declared persona non grata.

Earlier, Chisinau declared persona non grata of the representative of the embassy of the Russian Federation in Chisinau.
