
The car was completely destroyed by the explosion of an improvised incendiary device early Thursday morning in Aspropyrgos.
According to ERT, the car belongs to a 38-year-old expatriate from the former USSR, the incident occurred near his house at 2.40 am at 100 Nato Ave.
From the force of the explosion, a funnel formed in the asphalt, and the facade of the house was also damaged.
It is noted that the 38-year-old man is known to the authorities for having been released from prison in 2019, having served time for the attempted murder of a Georgian, while he is accused of extortion and migrant trafficking cases.
