Caring for local fauna and homeless animals

In order to protect the local fauna, the sound curtains have special stickers based on international standards to prevent them from bumping into these passing birds. Both companies are partnering with the ANIMA Wildlife Protection and Care Association to take care of wild animals and birds that happen to be on the highway. In addition, over the years they have collaborated with the Hellenic Benevolent Society to support the organization in the collection and protection of stray and abandoned animals, the treatment of injured animals, and the care of their neutering and adoption.

Attiki Odos will continue to coexist in harmony with the environment and develop steadily in line with the principles of sustainable development.
