On Monday morning (24/4), students at the school in Menidi, where 11-year-old Marios died about six years ago from a stray bullet, saw four bullets from a gun.
According to ERT, yesterday was the day when schools reopened to welcome students after the Easter holidays, and parents, teachers and students at Acharnon 6th Primary School in Menidi found that there were four bullets in the yard. 9 mm, probably from random shots that fell on Easter. The police were notified and collected the fireballs and they were taken to forensic laboratories to check if they were from weapons that had been used again in the past.
This is not the first time the people of Menidi have protested and expressed their pain, but also their anger at the stray bullets that are found in the area from time to time.
